Who is invited to the EIDBI public engagement sessions?
DHS invites everyone to participate in these meetings, including providers, service recipients, families, caregivers of recipients, advocates, and community members.
What should I do to prepare?
Before you attend one of our public meetings, please review the draft comprehensive standards.
What if I can't attend a public engagement event?
If you can’t attend an in-person session, you can submit your feedback using the "submit feedback" button on the previous page.
How will my comments and feedback be used?
DHS will review all feedback to inform our recommendations to the legislature. We will also share a report on the feedback we received.
Will I need to use my name or be on camera?
You will need to use your name to register for the public sessions. It is not required that you turn your camera on during the virtual meetings.
What if I need an accommodation to participate?
Accommodation requests can be made during registration.
